In 2012, Ajay, a Rajasthani MBA graduate, moved to Bangalore—a new city, a new culture, and a new beginning. Everything was different: the language, the customs, and most of all, the food. While he embraced the excitement of South India, there was one thing he deeply missed—the bold, tangy, and fiery flavors of authentic Rajasthani pickle.
As an HR recruiter, Ajay spent his days navigating resumes and interviews, but his heart longed for the comforting taste of home. He searched everywhere for pickles that captured the true essence of Rajasthan, but nothing quite matched the flavors he grew up with. That’s when a thought sparked: Why not make my own?
Life, however, had its own plans. Building a career and settling into a new city took precedence, and the pickle-making dream was set aside. But some cravings never fade. After 13 years in Bangalore, in 2025, Ajay finally decided it was time—to reconnect with his roots and bring the taste of Rajasthan to those who missed it just as much as he did.
Thus, HR Aachaar Wala was born—a name that playfully blends his two worlds: HR and his lifelong love for authentic, handcrafted pickles.
